Crochet blankets bring unmatched style and comfort, but the One More Row Crochet Blanket Pattern stands out with a touch of uniqueness. Crafted in warm hues of orange, it offers a delightful spin to regular blankets. The central portion features a plain orange shade, embellished with a customizable message, “one more row.” However, you can add your personal touch by changing the text with a message of your choice. Its distinctive characteristic is the decorative border, beautifully crafted with granny squares, that renders a compelling aesthetic. Ideal for fall decorations and Halloween, this crochet blanket carries a festive vibe with an artistic personal message.

GAUGES
- 5 dc blocks = 4″ [10 cm] in pattern.
- Motif = Approx 6″ [15 cm] square.
Step by step Pattern
- MOTIF (make 34)
Notes:
- Motifs begin with Color 1 (shortest colour rep) from the centre of the pull-skein, leaving a 4″ [10 cm] tail to weave in.
- Each colour aligns with 1 round (rnd) in the Motif with 5 colours in total. If too much colour is left at the end of the rnd, pull back some stitches (sts) and slightly loosen the gauge to re-work the sts and finish at the colour change. If too little colour is left, pull back some sts and slightly tighten the gauge to re-work sts and finish at colour change.
- When the Motif is complete, cut yarn where Color 5 (longest colour rep) ends, leaving a tail for weaving in. Begin the next Motif with Color 1 and repeat 5 rnds for each Motif.
Notes:
- Ch 3 at beg of rnd counts as dc.
- Ch 6 at beg of rnds counts as dc and ch-3 sp.
- Join all rnds with sl st to 3rd ch of ch-6 unless otherwise indicated.
- With A, ch 4. Join with Sl st to firstch to form a ring.
- 1st rnd: (RS). Ch 6. (3 dc. Ch 3) 3 times in ring. 2 dc in ring. Join.
