Step by step Pattern

  • Chain (ch) 3 at the beginning (beg) of round (rnd) counts as a double crochet (dc).
  • Ch 6 at the beg of rounds counts as dc and ch-3 space (sp).
  • Join all rnds with slip stitch (sl st) to 3rd ch of ch-6 unless otherwise indicated.
  • Make 4 Motifs:
  • 1 with E as Color 1, D as Color 2, C as Color 3, and B as Color 4. 1 with D as Color 1, C as Color 2, B as Color 3 and E as Color 4. 1 with C as Color 1, B as Color 2, E as Color 3 and D as Color 4.
  • 1 with B as Color 1, E as Color 2, D as Color 3, and C as Color 4. With A, ch 4. Join with sl st to the first ch to form a ring. See diagram on page 2.
  • 1st rnd: [Right side (RS)]. Ch 6. (3 dc in ring. Ch 3) 3 times. 2 dc in ring. Join. 12 dc and 4 ch-3 spaces (sps).
  • 2nd rnd: Sl st to next ch-3 sp. Ch 6. 3 dc in same ch-3 sp. *Ch 1. (3 dc. Ch 3. 3 dc) in next ch-3 sp. Rep from * twice more. Ch 1. 2 dc in first ch-3 sp. Join. Fasten off. 24 dc, 4 ch-1 sps and 4 ch-3 sps.
